Khun Nucharin’s works are inspired by repetitive patterns from both nature and manmade objects, driven by an exploration of forms in the creation of each piece. Her main focus is on experimentation with different types of repetition and progressions through different woodworking techniques, creating a body of work which shares her feelings of her memories and life experiences with her audience.


She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Architecture in Industrial Design from the School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, in 2007. After working for two years, She continued her study in the Woodworking and Furniture Design program at the School for American Crafts, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York in 2009. For four years she worked on mastering her woodworking skills in the USA before relocating to Bangkok in June 2013 to establish herself as an Artist and Woodworker.




Khun Nucharin’s exhibition history includes: Solo exhibition with Serindia gallery in 2013 and 2016, awarded Windgate residencies at the Center for Art in Wood in 2016. Her works have been included in exhibitions in Thailand and internationally: RePAPPER, Found-Woodworking project, Creative Expo Taiwan, allTURNatives: From + Spirit, MetaPhysics 2018 Taiwan Woodcarving Southbound Exchange Exhibition, Blind Dates Rennes-Bangkok group exhibition and the latest,Never Was Normal, group exhibition by Grains and Grams.


Khun Nucharin served as guest Instructor for Industrial Design Fundamental Class at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (2013), Furniture Design Class at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin( 2016-2019). Architectural Material and Detailed Design Class(2019) and Furniture Design Class at Bangkok University (2017-2019).


She is also interested in working with kids and youths, sharing her woodworking knowledge, educating outside the classroom, and working in mental health awareness related areas. She is highly passionate about cetaceans, especially whales.
