Dental Services

We are happy to provide a space for professional dental service at ISA. Dental services are provided at ISA; however the scheduling and invoicing are done directly with the dentist office.

A dentist with a practice in Amstelveen Stadshart visits ISA every Tuesday during the school year. Her name is Dr. Lian Ong. Dr. Ong can perform dental check-ups and cleaning, as well as provide dental treatment if necessary at ISA. However, it is not possible to get dental x-rays at school. For this service, your child would need to visit Dr. Ong’s main practice.

If you have Dutch health insurance, the invoices will be sent directly to your insurance company. If you have international insurance, you will need to pay the invoice yourself first and claim the money back from your insurance provider.

In general, your child will be invited for a dental check-up every 6 months.

!! Tips !!

• When scheduling appointments for your child(ren), be sure to review the school calendar in the Veracross Parent Portal so that you do not schedule an appointment time that conflicts with a school event or field trip.

• When you receive an appointment via email, remember to confirm the appointment so that the dentist knows she has permission to see your child(ren). 

• A parent can attend the appointment with your child, but this is not essential. If you choose to attend, you can collect your child from class and take them to the appointment.

• If a parent does not attend the appointment, please tell your child the date and time of the appointment so they can come on time by themselves. For lower school students, please inform your child’s teacher about the appointment so that they can send the child on time. For very young students, the staff of the Nurse’s Office can collect the child from class and walk them to the dental room.

If you are a returning family and you have already completed this form, you do not need to complete it again. If you have changes to your contact details, please notify the dentist office directly at isadentist@hetnet.nl
