Counseling in Schools (COMPASS After School Programs)

COMPASS is an additional after school program at I.S. 223 in partnership with Counseling In Schools, providing structured activities with a focus on SEL and identifying students who may benefit from counseling services. Students are mentored to be leaders. Recreational activities include art, sports, dance, martial arts, crochet, ASL, film and cooking. STEM activities include LEGO robotics, architecture and experiments. Field trips and opportunities for service learning help connect our program  and students to the community.
