Counseling in Schools

The Counseling In Schools After School program at JHS 223 provides structured activities with a focus on SEL and identifying students who may benefit from counseling services. Students are mentored to be leaders. Recreational activities include art, sports, dance, martial arts, crochet, ASL, film and cooking. STEM activities include LEGO robotics, architecture and experiments. Field trips and opportunities for service learning help connect our program  and students to the community.
