Research
The Lab's research is in the area of computational systems biology, bioinformatics and biomedical informatics. I am interested in developing computational methods to investigate the system-level patterns that governs whole body homeostasis to improve disease detection and understanding. My research combines data-driven methods and model-driven methods to better understand the development of complex diseases and unraveling novel patterns.
Main Projects:
Systematic Diseases:
Combining data-driven and model-driven methods to explore common mechanisms for comorbidities: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Systems Endocrinology:
Predicting tissue-specific metabolic and inflammatory receptors roles using gene expression data
Whole body transcription coordination patterns
