Google Slides

Google Slides is a great tool to use in person. Students are able to work on slide presentation at the student's pace. Teacher can monitor. It is a way to make students' work shine. Students use Google Slides for visual presentations of English topics, vocabulary words, definitions and/or example sentences. They can add text and images to each slide with various backgrounds. Instead of just writing a definition or completing the Frayer Model, students can create slides of vocabulary. Google Slides is also cost effective. Students can complete a project by just copying and pasting, not going to the local store spending money on magazines and newspapers for pictures.

You can use Google Slides to add a little spice to your summarizers like a TOTD - a ticket-out-the-door. Not only do the students create their example sentence, but they can add a cute picture to the side too.
