The learning plans are meant to work as a guide for parents to understand what students will be learning at each grade level and by content area. The actual lessons and accompanying assignments will be provided by their classroom teachers.
The lessons will follow the TEKS, or state standards for learning, in core classes as students move into the final six weeks of the year.
iPads have been distributed to all middle school students via the Verizon Learning Grant. Each iPad is equipped with Wi-Fi.

Many internet companies are offering free internet access. Check out the List of Providers offering this service.
Students can access ALL online learning resources including textbooks, Achieve 3000, presentation software, library resources, etc. to complete distance learning plans.
