Irving ISD is finding innovative ways to deliver instruction, but also is looking at our assessment practices to ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed and are not penalized in any way by our current grading system.
Therefore, Irving ISD has developed grading guidelines for the 5th and 6th Marking Periods for 2019-2020 with the influence of the equity of instruction, learner impact, family needs, access to technology along with TEA’s Guidance on Grading.
Parents can view Grading Guidelines for the 5th and 6th Marketing Periods for the 2019-2020 school year.
Starting Monday, April 13, parents can view their child's report card online.
Parents have two options to access report cards through the grading portal, Home Access Center.
Option 1: Log in through the parent HAC account.
Option 2: Log in through their student’s HAC account.
If both the parent and student HAC accounts are not accessible, parents can contact their child’s teacher for HAC login information.
For elementary, parents will need to email their child’s homeroom teacher for HAC login information. Note: PreK students will receive report cards from their teachers.
For secondary (grades 6-12), parents will need to email their child’s 2nd period teacher for HAC login information.
