MTSS encompasses supports for the whole child, and takes into account academics, behavior, and social/emotional supports. • MTSS is the term that is being used more and more nationwide. • RtI and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) are examples of tiered systems under the MTSS umbrella. • Intervention Best Practices Statewide Leadership Network will develop guidance, including professional development modules, about MTSS

Students in grades K-2 are assessed three times a year using mCLASS. The mCLASS assessment includes the ability to identify letter names and sounds, blend letters together to make words, and the ability to read words fluently. DIBELS is the English version of the mCLASS, and Lectura is the Spanish version of the mCLASS. 

Los estudiantes en los grados K-2 son evaluados tres veces al año usando mCLASS. La evaluación mCLASS incluye la capacidad de identificar nombres y sonidos de letras, combinar letras para formar palabras y la capacidad de leer palabras con fluidez.
