Hello Students!
The Indian River High School nurses’ office offers assistance with student’s health care needs. If you have chronic medical conditions, take daily medications or just have an acute situation, Mrs. Beam and Mrs. Bounds can assist you in addressing those needs and help you maintain your wellness during your school day.
All students need a pass to come to the nurses’ office. We are open for care throughout the school day (homeroom through 2:15) for office visits. Students should create a Smartpass and wait for it to be accepted before coming to the Nurses' office.
Our goal is to educate IRHS students on how to gain and maintain good health habits. The first line of defense and reducing your chances of getting sick is by washing your hands with soap and water or use of hand sanitizer; stay home if you have the following symptoms a fever 100 degrees or higher; severe sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, hacking or productive cough. You should be symptom free for 24 hours before your return to school.
We look forward to working with you and your family to promote good health. You can contact the nurses’ office by calling 302-732-3194 or email us: Tamula.beam@irsd.k12.de.us or tricia.bounds@irsd.k12.de.us. Our fax number is 302-231-4546.
