Course Description:

Students will participate in many athletic activities. Students will gain the information and skills needed to create their own personal fitness/wellness program. It will help students understand the benefits of regular exercise and also help them find activities they can enjoy throughout the rest of their lives. Fitness class will also stress the importance of staying active and physically fit for future health

Expectations:

1. Abide by Mrs. Earl’s Expectations

2. Participate in every aspect of class (warm-ups, drills, quizzes, discussion, games).

3. Clothing should allow free movement for participation in all activities

( no dresses, tight clothing etc…)

Grading:

Each student may earn up to ten points each day for the following:

¬ Participation in Activities in Class

¬ Being on task/respectful

¬ Attending class on time

Each student may also expect quizzes and tests on the material covered in class

If for ANY reason a student has ten (10) or more absences (excused and/or unexcused) they will automatically receive an F for the quarter and NO CREDIT will be issued/earned for the course.
