SENIOR WEAR SALE GOING ON NOW. ALL ORDERS WITH PAYMENT ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31ST. WE HAVE A 1/2 DAY, SO GET YOUR ORDERS IN.

A popular fundraiser is back, senior fall pie sales. We have already received calls and requests for pies, attached is the order form.
You may begin selling pies, be sure to collect money at time of sale. Order form and payment are due back to Mrs. Frank (library) or Mrs. Alexander (251)
by Thursday, October 30th. We are scheduled for a delivery the week of November 17th.
**The blankets we ordered as a fundraiser have all been sold. We are so excited to say 150 more will be arriving around Halloween. Look for another message saying they have arrived. If you would like to reserve one for when they do arrive, please email: tinafrank@ircsd.org

Congratulations Class of 2026
We met with the Senior Class yesterday to highlight what our year will look like.
Below you will find all information we discussed.
COMMUNICATION
We use ParentSquare/StudentSquare as our main form of communication. Information is also shared on the Senior Class website, afternoon announcements, Senior Cafe, and most of your classroom teachers will know what is expected during the school year. https://sites.google.com/ircsd.org/senioryear
OFFICER INFORMATION
Officer nominations have started:
If you are interested in running for Senior Class Officer, please fill out the Google Form on the senior class website today (must be done by 9-12).
The website is located under Families/Students (then Student Resources) on the high school page (www.irhs.ircsd.org). Click on Class Officers and scroll down until you see the link to the Google form. https://sites.google.com/ircsd.org/senioryear
The official vote, next week (9/15 - 9/19), will be available on the senior class website as well. Please read the daily afternoon announcements and check the senior website regularly for updates.
FUNDRAISERS
Permission to Sell form - Google form found on senior class website, please complete before starting any fundraiser
Pies starts 10-17-25 ends 10-30-25 (perfect for Thanksgiving & Easter)
Pop Up Food Trucks/Chicken BBQ - scheduled periodically, usually busy Friday nights, Food Truck makes monetary donation to Class
Senior Wear - once officers are selected they will design an IR Class of 2026 Senior Wear Sale
PROM - May 9th (8-11) @ Bonnie Castle, Alexandria Bay. $50. An optional 45 minute Uncle Sam's Boat Tour is included.
GRADUATION - Friday, June 26th Indian River Theatre of Performing Arts 7:00 p.m.
IRCSD will livestream the event on the district site. The link will be there during the week of graduation. Tickets are needed, the class buys the tickets, we do not charge graduates for the tickets. A letter will be sent home in May via ParentSquare/StudentSquare to request additional tickets. We do our best to meet the needs of all graduates and their families. The cafeteria is open for family friendly viewing.

A new opportunity to order Nike, North Face, or Under Armour clothes, you can choose any of the IR approved logos to put on any of the items. The Senior Class receives 20% from all online orders in the Mascot Shop.

Need more information? Jostens packets are available in the Library, Mrs. Alexander's room, Senior Cafe, and Student Services. These packets include a ring sizer in case you are interested in ordering a class ring. Anyone who purchases a class ring from Jostens earns a free cap and gown.

Officers will propose all activities to the class advisors before any decisions are made. This includes cap decorating. If there is enough interest, officers will present the idea to the Board of Educaiton, upon their approval students will need to complete a contract and meet deadlines for cap approval.
SENIOR TRIP - TBD - Officers will select the location of the senior trip. We will start all planning in the spring. Trip is a day trip only. Cost is estimated at $100. Previous classes have gone to: Six Flags New England, Hershey Park, Darien Lake, Lake George.
Senior Class is responsible for:
PROM
Senior Trip expenses (coach buses, tickets, and meals)
Senior gifts at end of year
Graduation (tickets, flowers)
Senior Scholarship
Senior BBQ - last day of school
Ice Cream Truck at BBQ
Professional photographer at graduation (photo mailed home to families)
Miscellaneous expenses
