Course Description:
This course is intended to introduce students to the different transportation systems and how they have impacted society. The first half of the class will explore 4 types of transportation systems; Land, Water, Air and Space. This will involve building problem solving projects related to each area. The second half of the class will focus on the internal combustion engine, as well as an automotive unit. Students will disassemble and put back together a small gas engine. This is a half year class and you will receive .5 of an elective credit for it.
Course Prerequisites:
This course is offered to all 9-12 grade students.
