Course Description:
This course is intended to introduce students to some of the career areas of skilled trades. Students will be introduced to the tools and building materials used in the construction industry. It offers the basic understanding of commonly used construction systems. The first 5-6 weeks of this class will focus on skill building lab activities. The remainder of the class will focus on applying these skills to building a shed. This is a half year class and you will receive .5 of an elective credit for it.
Course Prerequisites:
This course is offered to all 10-12 grade students. Wood Productions is a prerequisite for this class.Â
