WHO WE ARE:
The Indian River Stage Crew is

WHEN WE MEET:
We meet every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month, usually in Room 112 or the theatre. We alternate with Thespian Troupe meetings so you can do both! We may meet less consistently the closer we get to the show performances. Stage Crew meetings will most likely be digital for the beginning of the school year until we can return to fully in-person activities.
WHAT WE DO:
PERFORMANCES
Stage Crew assists in all theatrical and concert based performances that are held at the high school. This includes award ceremonies, the fall play, the spring musical, smaller theatrical performances, talent shows, induction ceremonies, grades K - 12 concerts, music festivals and events hosted by outside groups. Our students get real life working experience on a stage crew and can expect to be put in leadership roles as they grow with the program.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
We hold and attend workshops through out the year to help our students develop their skills. These include but are not limited to:
FUN
We have annually travelled to Darien Lake or Enchanted Forest Water Safari with the Thespian Troupe
We challenge the Thespian Troupe to a winter theatre scavenger hunt and an annual tech olympics
