7th Grade

Welcome to 7th grade at Indian River Middle School!

There are a variety of different courses you'll take in 7th grade here at IRMS. Most courses are required, with the exception of music ensembles. In May, students had an opportunity to select whether or not they wanted to participate in music ensembles (Band, Orchestra, Chorus) and have been scheduled accordingly. The coursework for 7th grade is listed below. Be diligent in your work, ask questions, and focus on your studies, and success will come your way!

Band, Orchestra, and Chorus students are additionally required to attend instrumental lessons which follow a 1/6 day cycle rotation. Students are responsible for the classwork they miss during lessons and should plan ahead!
