Setting up the App

Setting up the App:

1. Create a profile 

   • You will be prompted to enter your name, phone number, email address, school district (Indian River, New York), and choose a password.

2. Add students

   • In the drop-down menus, select New York, then Indian River 

   • Student ID (580 number) and Security code can be found in the SchoolTool Parent Portal. If you need help accessing the Parent Portal, you will find answers on the IRCSD Parent Portal page.  Once logged in to the Parent Portal, click on your child's picture and then find the User Defined tab (all the way to the right). Select FirstView Student Code.

3. Create notification settings

   • Open the settings menu

     • Notification Settings: toggle to allow push notifications

     • Notification Recipients: add up to 3 recipients to receive email daily notifications regarding your child's bus.
