Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps students become leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life - planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication - necessary in the home and workplace.

Grow Your Own Teachers is a district wide program aimed to encourage students to be become educators. With a goal of encouraging students to go into teaching and come back to 204 to teach, students meet during the school day to participate in classroom observations every quarter. We want students to view our district as a place they want to come back to work in. We introduce students to different levels each time including elementary, middle, and high school. During observations, student interact with educators and learn about teaching styles and techniques.
