ESSENTIAL TECHNOLOGY

Course Overview

Students will use computers and programs to apply strategies and processes to become more effective problem-solvers.  Participating students will have the opportunity to explore scenarios to determine the most appropriate design elements, presentation formats, and electronic tools for effectively communicating messages to specific audiences.  Throughout the semester, they will build familiarity with the core features of most programming languages.  As well, students will gain a foundational understanding of what AI is as a tool, the importance of data gathering, spreadsheet development, the analytical nature of AI, and how it is being used in the real world.
