Albrecht Durer (1471-1528) was a master of drawing techniques. His drawing entitled Young Hare shows incredible details and realistic proportions. His use of line creates a photo-realistic depiction of fur.
El Anatsui (born 1944) is a Ghanaian sculptor working most of his career in Nigeria. He uses found materials such as bottle caps and links them together using copper wire. From far away they may hang as a fabric but upon closer inspection, one is able to see the abundance of material carefully and skillfully put together.
