If you are a current IPSD 204 student who can demonstrate (via official test scores) your proficiency in both English and another language, you may be interested in obtaining the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy.

The Seal of Biliteracy is a recognition given to graduating high school students who have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in standard academic English and an additional language (via reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking). The Seal of Biliteracy will then appear on the transcript or diploma of the graduating senior and is a statement of accomplishment for future employers and for college admissions. Additionally, some universities may provide college credits based on achieving the Seal of Biliteracy or Commendation Toward Biliteracy.

👉 Neuqua students currently enrolled in a level 3 World Language (or Chinese level 4) will take the STAMP 4S test in class during the school year - see your language teacher for more information. ALL OTHER LEVELS/LANGUAGES must be tested during on one of the following Saturday dates at Neuqua:

✅ STEP 1: Read and follow the directions on the IPSD website to apply for the specific language you want to test for.

✅ STEP 2: Show your picture ID + proof of payment on the day of the test.
