Brooks Elementary Project Arrow 2025-2026

WELCOME TO OUR CLASS!

I am happy to welcome you to our Project Arrow Google Site! This site will be used to communicate between school and home throughout the year. In addition to the basic information shared on this site, each grade level will have a designated Google Classroom, where work will be assigned and stored throughout the year. Please take some time to peruse each of the tabs above.

ParentVue will be used to communicate between home and school as well. If you are not receiving emails in your ParentVue (either from me, the classroom teacher, or the school), please let me know so the office can fix the problem! Also, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns that may arise, through a phone call or email (email is preferred). I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

About Me...

Hello! My name is Christi Kerner. This is my fourth year being a Project Arrow teacher at Brooks Elementary. However, it is my 25th year of teaching! I have enjoyed many years as a classroom teacher, with students of all abilities and talents, and am looking forward to the year ahead!

I received my bachelor's degree from Ball State University in elementary education with endorsements in language arts and social sciences. I have a master's degree from Benedictine University in literacy instruction, as well as endorsements in gifted education, instructional technology, and English Language Learning. I love traveling, reading, going to concerts, and exploring new places with my husband, Brian. I am also a mother to two amazing girls, my greatest accomplishment to date! I am excited to help your child soar to new heights!
