1st Plant Projects:
5th graders from F4B: Miss Bonfigt's, F4A: Ms. Shirk's and 6th graders from F5A: Ms. Goff's classes came together in small groups to research fruit trees suited for life on the ʻEwa plains. They explored the ethnobotanical and cultural significance of their chosen plants, as well as the ideal growing conditions. On March 30, 2023, students planted 9 unique fruiting trees, marking the exciting beginning of our orchard. Check out our keiki trees and learn more about what's growing in our orchard!
