OPERATION GIVE BACK: This project will give IPA students an opportunity to “pay it forward” by donating an age-appropriate gift for a child in the Kids Hurt Too program. This is similar to Toys for Tots or Angel Tree. All of this information below will be shared on Google Classroom and sent to students by individual class councils.
Step 1: Decide if you want to do this alone or with a group. If you decide to work in a group, you must coordinate among yourselves.
Step 2: Look over the list of children.
Step 3: Complete the Operation Give Back Google Form to select a child *FIRST COME FIRST SERVE*
You will be given a chance to indicate your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice
Wait for confirmation before continuing
Google Form will be closed on 11/30 or when all children have been selected
UPDATE: We have another list of children to sponsor. Please see list below.
If necessary, an additional list of children will be provided if there are more sponsors who want to participate
Step 4: Shop for a gift online or at a store (with parent permission)
Check the “wish list” if you need ideas
Email a picture with short description to Mrs. Bento at lbento@ipahawaii.org and wait for approval before purchasing
Step 5: Wrap gift and write a note in a christmas card then attach to gift
Step 6: Drop off gift on 12/11
in-person students: designated location on campus
distance learners: 3:30 at Ala Kahawai gate
Price range: $20-$25
Thanks to your generosity and kindness, 55 children from Kids Hurt Too had a very Merry Christmas this year. Thank you to IPA families, students, and faculty for supporting Operation Give Back!
