Earlier I used to take everything around me casually. I never felt the need of savings the resources which I was using. The course made me realise that there are things which are available easily to me but not to everyone. Resources are depleting at a very high rate and there is an immediate need to take a step forward and sustain these resources. They biodiversity session made me realise that how each and every species on earth is dependent on each other and extinction of one species can lead to disastrous consequences for others and can become a threat to survival for everyone. This programme also gave me some hope as well as immense inspiration to come and take a step forward in sustaining the nature that sustains us. It was one the most informative session that I have attended.

One of the most important aspects that this course made me revisit is the idea of 'development'. As a political science student I had always been conflicted with my position on the idea of development and the cost at which it can be brought about. But the alternate approaches discussed in this course made me rethink how development can be brought about in a 'just' and 'sustainable' way.
