General Instructions

For joining the workshop by phone-

1. Install Google Meet App on your phone, so that you can easily join the workshop without any delay. 

2. After installing the Google Meet App, open the app and login using the email ID via which you registered for this Workshop.

3. As soon as you login, you will see that the front camera is being accessed. Notice that on the screen, there are two round buttons, one for accessing microphone and the other one for accessing camera. TURN OFF BOTH THE OPTIONS, i.e., turn off the microphone and camera access. 

4. Below those 2 round buttons, you will find an option of “Enter Meeting Code”, below which you will find an already scheduled meeting at 4 PM. Tap that and further select Join Meeting to join the Workshop. As soon as the meeting starts, make sure once again that your microphone and camera are turned off. 

5. At the top right corner, you will find an audio source option. You can choose any of them as per your convenience. 

6. At the top right corner, you will find the participants icon, which when clicked shows all participants. Search the presenter's name, click on the arrow corresponding to that name, and tap on the “pin” option, so that you can easily watch the shared screen of the presenter. 

7. For any doubts during the workshop, DO NOT UNMUTE YOURSELF. Instead, mention your query in the Chat Box, which is present at the top right corner of the screen. 

For joining through PC-

1. Go to meet.google.com. Login using the email ID via which you registered for the Workshop.

2. As soon as the login successfully, you will find an already scheduled meeting for the workshop at 4 PM. Tap that, and further click on Join Meeting to join the Workshop. 

3. It will lead to a new webpage, on which you will see that the front camera is being accessed. Notice that on the screen, there are two round buttons, one for accessing microphone and the other one for accessing camera. TURN OFF BOTH THE OPTIONS, i.e., turn off the microphone and camera access, and then Join the workshop. 

4. At the top right corner, you will find an audio source option. You can choose any of them as per your convenience.
