We are continuing to apply for grants and donations  from organizations and donors  outside  the area interested in country/rural/one room schools and also having an economic  benefit to the  local economy, recreation and tourism.  Some grants have applications deadlines in July , August, and later this year as well as the beginning of next year.   

Most grants require letters from local/area people, groups, organizations,  telling, why they are interested, how the area would benefit, and what they would like to see or how they would like to use the school when open to the public again.  

Please  send your letters NOW PLEASE by snail mail, e mail, or  give in person, about why you want the school restored, , what your memories, ,stories or connections are to the Little Red School House,, what you would like featured at the restored school,  what displays, activities, event,  demonstrations, workshops,  landscaping, and outside structures or accessories you would like to see. 

Donation checks payable to Little Red School House,  a project of L.A.P.L.A.N.D. NETWORK  may be mailed.  Please contact before sending pictures or items through snail mail.
