Endangered Species:

Endangered species are any plant or animal at risk of going extinct in their natural environment or specific range. They may be at risk due to factors such as, habitat loss, poaching (illegal hunting), invasive species, and human impact to the biosphere. They sometimes have laws trying to protect and preserve the threatened species today. Threatened species are any plant or animal at risk of going endangered in the near future. This is important because once a species is extinct, they are gone forever and this will directly impact (positive and negative) the ecosystem. Usually as human population and natural resource consumption increases, so do impacts (mostly negative).
