This slideshow serves as a launching point for getting started with choice boards. It provides an alternative view of the types of tasks students might engage with during independent work time.

There are both analog and digital resources along with suggestions for how you might any of the nine categories for "I am a ..."

Lastly, there are samples as well as articles that support the integration of choice boards.

Management: Choice Board

ℹ️ Description ℹ️

This is an example of a choice board that focuses on a specific academic skill/standard.

Students start with taking a Quizizz which is instantly scored. Based on a student's score, they will self-select to pursue EdPuzzle (0-3 correct) or Formative (4-6 correct).

After completing EdPuzzle or Formative, they have an opportunity for some fun concluded with a short reflection via Flip (formerly Flipgrid)

K-2 Choice Board

ℹ️ Description ℹ️

While geared towards K-2, it highlights how various levels can be contained within the same choice.
