PTA is an advocacy organization for your child's education.

Ione E. Olson Elementary PTA is a member of the Monterey Bay Council, California State PTA, and National PTA, the oldest children's advocacy organization in the U.S. Olson PTA membership is its legislative voice. The more members our PTA has, the more official voting delegates and representation we get at the state level. Your membership activates rights to make motions, debate and vote in local PTA actions.

Ione E. Olson Elementary PTA a non-profit, fully funded by donations, fundraisers and membership dues. When you join the Olson PTA, you are directly contributing to its programs, student and family events, student awards as well as teacher and staff appreciation. A portion of your membership dues go to the local, district, state and national PTA organizations, which provide us with leadership, training, and other needed services.
