Possible Service Project Ideas
This list contains possible ideas to help you get started on your junior service project. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and many other ideas not listed can be approved for your project. Your project must be approved by Mrs. Gray or Mr. Pellegrino before you begin working on it.
POSSIBLE SERVICE PROJECTS
Education/Children's Programs
Partner with a local non-profit group or library to create or work with a program for children. See two student project examples here (example 1) (example 2).
Don Bosco Dinner Buddies (and after school tutoring)
Food Insecurity Homelessness
Partner with a local food bank/ meal program to learn more about food insecurity and/or homelessness. See a student project example here.
Sustainability/Eco Concerns
Work with Westchester Parks Foundation on one of their many projects surrounding park maintenance, invasive species, sustainability and water conservation. See a student project example here.
