My practice operates virtually Monday through Thursday, during regular business hours (EST) and observes federal holidays. In accordance with license requirements, clients should to be physically located in DC, Maryland, or Virginia at the time of each session. I utilize a HIPAA compliant platform for secure and confidential client communication, video visits, scheduling, and accounting. My practice is a private pay model and super bills are provided for reimbursement purposes. Clients are responsible for communicating with their insurance providers.
Starting in 2022, there are protections that prevent surprise medical bills. If you have private health insurance, these new protections ban the most common types of surprise bills. If you’re uninsured or you decide not to use your health insurance for a service, under these protections, you can often get a good faith estimate of the cost of your care up front, before your visit. To learn more about your rights under the No Surprises Act, you can visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
