KIND TESTIMONIALS
Aliza is the first student I've had the pleasure of working with through distance learning. At the time that she enrolled, ISA was known as The Kindest School, a monicker we still feel is a fair assessment of Florida International School, now International School of America.
She is a hard worker, an excellent independent learner, and has lofty goals for her career, where she looks to help others. She exhibits all of the qualities that a teacher looks for in a student.
Her kindness towards others, her strong sense of family, and her caring nature will guide Aliza as she becomes a leader of the Kindest Generation.
Translated from Thai: "You are so cute. You love your teacher and your teacher loves you! For whatever reason you came to my classroom, I would always think it was my good luck that you did! Let's continue to make lots of good memories together!" #love_you
To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Aliza for consideration as an exemplary post-secondary student, knowing fully that she will not only excel in her academic studies, but be a fantastic asset to any institution with her drive, dedication, commitment to others and unwavering curiosity for a life of learning that I have been privileged to personally witness.
I met Aliza while she was a senior student in an online learning community where I was teaching students about editing video footage and creating compelling stories.
She impressed me with her enthusiasm and engagement with the media creation process from beginning to end: filming footage, organizing media assets for a project, and then actually putting together a compelling edited video that included graphics, text and music elements. It was great to see that she was very motivated, a self-starter extraordinaire and consistently over-delivered on my expectations by adding fun and original touches to her videos, demonstrating natural storytelling prowess and a fun, inquisitive nature that is vital to the creative process. She was also able to simplify complex subject matter, ranging from the natural and life sciences to international socio-cultural topics, and turn them into stories that held a viewer’s interest and brought great joy to our group viewing sessions.
I also appreciated that Aliza naturally took a position of leadership with some of the younger students in our group, never hesitating to help guide them along, sharing knowledge and insight in her always-friendly, inclusive approach. It was memorable to see the other students look up to her as a mentor in her own right, throughout the process.
I know that Aliza will bring her multitude of talents to manifest at any post-secondary institution lucky enough to have her as a student. She will be a valuable member of campus organizations, clubs, student government and much more. Most importantly, in addition to her own significant achievements, she will give a voice and a helping hand to those who need it, and represent her peers in the best way possible.
Sincerely,
Zsolt Luka
