The initial workshops were held on Zoom, using break-out rooms to allow the students from the inaurgural schools to work together on developing their sparring skills.

The final competition was held at Görres-Gymnasium, and featured on the program of events celebrating the 75th anniversary of North-Rhine Westphalia.

The inaugural competition was won by the hosts, Görres-Gymnasium.
