Maurice received his Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. During his time there, his work focused on assisting students with diverse backgrounds to matriculate. More specifically, his research explored the connection between gender performance and the matriculation efforts of transgender students at elite institutions. Since 2016,Maurice has worked in Philadelphia’s urban education system. As a college counselor, he assisted students with their college application process. Additionally, he also worked as a Postsecondary Counselor with the Snider Hockey Foundation. His work in this role aimed at assisting student-athletes from the Philadelphia – Camden Metropolitan area with the college application and transition process. Before this, Maurice earned his Bachelors in English from Boston College and worked in social media marketing, sales, and business development.
