Emily is a native of Northern Michigan and enjoyed her early years in education as a teacher and literacy coach. Emily is a proud wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys knitting, quilting, canning, fiber crafts and gardening. Equally passionate about the arts and education, Emily is feeling at home at Interlochen Arts Academy, where the arts and education come alive.
