2025 Competition Events
The Lakerbots had a great first competition at Western New England in Springfield, MA. We placed 13th out of 35 teams, and were the first pick of the 3rd Alliance with FRC Teams 467 and 178. After going 2 and 2 in playoffs, we were eliminated in the Double Elimination Bracket (Round 4).
Our team won the Industrial Design Award which celebrates the team that demonstrates industrial design principles, striking a balance between form, function, and aesthetics. Great start to the season earning 41 district points!
Our 2nd district competition was held at the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore Center Arena with 40 other FRC teams. We overcame a few electrical issues and placed 7th at the end of qualification matches. The Lakerbots became the 5th seed Alliance Captain, entering playoffs with our alliance partners FRC 319 and 6367.
Our alliance was eliminated in the Double Elimination Bracket (Round 3) earning our team 30 more points for a total of 71 district points and securing our place into District Championships!
The LakerBots had an exciting run at the 2024 WNE District Championship! While we didn’t advance to playoffs, we ranked 12th out of 48 teams and were the top-seeded backup bot.
We were also thrilled to take home the Team Sustainability Award, which recognizes teams that establish sustainable practices with long-term impact and community benefit. As the judges shared, “Big things can start small. They can even start at small schools and with the help of small businesses. We know this team is on the right trail to success, and we expect to see huge accomplishments from them in the future, while they help provide a positive outlet for other FRC teams to work and practice.”
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our sponsors—thank you for helping us make this season a success!
Nor'Easter 2025
The Lakerbots had a great first time attending the off-season competition, Nor'Easter hosted by FRC teams 2713 and 125.
We were able to test out bringing one of our brand new road cases to a competition and loved it! We also worked on a new auto where we score in the barge! Our team had a great time competing at this event with FRC teams 319, 2713, and 4311!
Governor's Cup 2025
The Lakerbots had a great time attending the annual Governor's Cup competition at PSU! The Lakerbots were able to meet NH Governor Kelly Ayotte and FIRST Founder Dean Kamen. We also received a banner with our top 10 terms that we think represent Gracious Professionalism to us. We received this for applying for a summer grant from the Kelso Family. We used this grant to buy every summer camp student, this past summer, a xbox controller to take home with them.
The Lakerbots had a great run during the competition and were finalists in the playoffs on an alliance with FRC teams...
Battle Of the Bay 2025
The LakerBots had an exciting run at the 2025 Battle Of the Bay competition! We started the weekend off by volunteering after school on Friday to set up the field for the weekend! With great team work we got it done! On Saturday the team was geared up and ready! We had 5 qualification matches where we had a record of 4-1-0. The LakerBots ranked 4th and became the third seed alliance captain. We played 4 playoff matches with teams 2370, 2342, and 10066 with a record of 2-2-0. We had a super fun day and the competition was a great success!
Girls Behind the Glass 2025
This year was our second time co-hosting this event with team 319 in Alton, NH! We had a great turnout with 26 teams which was super exciting! We had an all female drive team and were able to introduce three new girls to a competition. The girls put up a fight with an unexperienced drive team and ranked 18th. The girls were the second pick of the 6th alliance by team 4546 along with team 2342. With a mix of skills the alliance wasn't able to advance but everyone had a great time!
Thank you so much for coming to this event and for the great support we received! We are super excited and look forward to seeing everyone next year!
