Welcome to our second Public Workshop for Visioning Thames Street!

The City of Groton is developing a Placemaking Implementation Plan to make Thames Street a more vibrant, walkable and welcoming corridor, and we’d like to know your thoughts. The goal of the plan is to create a placemaking vision for Thames Street, identify current assets and opportunities along the corridor, and define steps to implement public space and streetscape improvements in the future.

As part of a series of community workshops, we've created this online public portal to share preliminary design ideas for Thames Street and know your thoughts about what would make the corridor a more welcoming space. Please explore and share your thoughts with us!

Please keep scrolling to learn more about the project and the planning process!

Our public outreach process is still open!
