How can we connect destinations? 

Connecting the dots is more important than ever. With  residential development slowing, attractions and entertainment (and the connections between them) will be critical to expanding the customer base. There are opportunities to:

• Expand the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail with branded neighborhood pathways to East Macon, Pleasant Hill, Tindall Heights, and the Downtown Core;

• Consider a pedestrian and bike bridge over the Ocmulgee River;

• Improve key intersections;

• Make Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard safer and easier to cross.
