Schedule

On the day of the interview, there will be an evaluation to assess each candidate's aptitude and fit with the Louisville Skills program. These on-site activities are first come first serve and are expected to take at least 1-2 hours, so please plan accordingly and block your schedule to accommodate for the interview process. Upon arrival at the interview location, you can expect the following activities as part of the interview process:

  • Registration
  • 10-15 minute in-person interview

While no formal preparation is required, we have provided some resources below that may be useful.

4 Steps to a Successful Interview Day

  1. Research the organization/program
      • Who will you be talking to?
      • Where will the interview be conducted?
      • Learn about the company/program online
  2. Anticipate your interview questions
      • Most interviews involve a combination of background information as well as behavioral and case questions
      • There are many websites that contain great practice questions for in-person interviews
  3. Dress appropriately
      • Make sure to dress to impress for the interview. Being prepared is key to having a successful interview experience
  4. Get your head in the game!
      • Make sure to be mentally prepared for the process. Block off the day and dedicate yourself to the interview
