SESSIONS DESCRIPTION

1st PHASE: HAPPENING

Session 1 (2h). INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT

      • HAPPENING. Density wheel.
      • Explain the project and show the site and how they are going to work.
      • Choose your box!
      • Monitoring notebook.

2nd PHASE: KNOWLEDGE STRUCTURE

Session 2 (2h). KNOWLEDGE STRUCTURE

      • Every group have to create a folder called 'P2CTM_Matter_A1' in order to save all tasks you do in this project. Make sure that it will be shared with all mates.
      • Start the activities 'LET'S CLASSIFY' that you have in the classroom (2nA, 2nB, 2nC, 2nD). You have to work in pairs.
      • Start the experimentation in the science lab, if it's your turn. Let's determine the density!

(During this activity students can film whatever they need to get material to create a video at the end)


Session 3 (2h). KNOWLEDGE STRUCTURE

      • Continue your activities 'LET'S CLASSITY'. (2nA, 2nB, 2nC, 2nD)
      • Start the experimentation in the science lab, if it's your turn. Let's determine the density!

(During this activity students can film whatever they need to get material to create a video at the end)


3rd PHASE: KNOWLEDGE APPLICATION

Sessions 4 & 5 (4h). KNOWLEDGE APPLICATION

      • Data processing: Share the obtained results with mates and do the proposed activities in the document Let's determine the density! If it's your turn you can continue with the experimentation in the science lab.
      • Start work on your lab report.
      • Start the storyboard of the main scences of your video.

Sessions 6 & 7 (4h). KNOWLEDGE APPLICATION

      • Work on your lab report.

Remember that your lab report must have these parts:

                  • Title
                  • Introduction
                  • Purpose
                  • Materials
                  • Methods and data
                  • Results and discussion
                  • Conclusion

4th PHASE: FEEDBACK AND IMPROVEMENT

Session 11 (2h). FINAL PRODUCTS PRESENTATION.

      • Co-evaluation and self assessment of VIDEO using Corubrics. You have the form in your classroom. (2nA, 2nB, 2nC, 2nD)
