Dear students,
You know that April 23rd (the day when both Shakespeare and Cervantes allegedly died, back in 1616) is Saint George's Day, which we celebrate in our school year after year. Although this year is going to be rather different, due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is no reason why we cannot celebrate it.
In the case of Baccalaureate we have decided to organize a Love Poem / Love Letter Contest.
If you wish to take part in this contest, what you need to do is as simple as this:
- You write EITHER a love poem OR a a love letter, in the widest sense of the term ‘love’: love to your mother/father, love to your boyfriend/girlfriend, love to animals, love to nature, love to…
- You hand your teacher the poem or letter printed,
- The maximum extension of the text will be 200 words.
- The deadline will be on April 16th Friday.

Saint george's day is here
and the dragon’s blood become roses.
In this kingdom all the people fears it
nobody goes to destroy the beast
the people are afraid and scared.
George comes with a shiny armor,
everyone supports him.
Only he will kill it.
Ready is the sword
going fast with his horse
ending the fear of the crowd
shiny lance to the war.
Dead is the beast
at heart the lance is stick
young princess is saved.
Els de 3r han hagut d'inventar-se un poema amb lloms de llibre, com aquest del Lemuel Marín:
A més a més, a francès, els alumnes van fer uns poemes sobre herois i la lluita metafòrica de l'èsser humà.
