DESCRIPCIÓ DEL PROJECTE

El tema de la revolució energètica aborda els desenvolupaments actuals en matèria d’energies renovables a la UE. Els estudiants del projecte (d’entre 13 i 16 anys) examinaran diferents aspectes sobre les energies renovables a Europa: desenvolupament de la situació energètica (1r any), fonaments bàsics científics i tecnològics (2n any), així com idees i possibilitats encarades al futur d’aquestes energies (3r any).

Les escoles participants són l'Institut de Navarcles (ES), Gimnazjum No.10 Gliwice que ha canviat el seu nom pel de Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 12 durant el projecte (PL)

i Gimnàs Rheinkamp Europaschule Moers (GER). Malauradament, un tercer participant, el Waterpark College Waterpark (IR) es va haver de retirar del projecte després de la nostra primera reunió de projecte. Això va requerir una reestructuració dels nostres plans originals per a la distribució del treball i les dates de les reunions del projecte.

Cada escola es centrarà en un tipus d’energia renovable rellevant per a la seva regió: l’aigua (PL), l’energia eòlica (ES) i l’energia solar (GER). La tasca dels estudiants és la de comparar aquests tipus entre ells i amb els tipus d’energia fòssil. Han de recopilar dades de sistemes que proporcionen energia a ciutats i escoles i comparar l’energia actual, la seva situació, reptes de futur i solucions per a Europa.

Els alumnes visitaran plantes d’energia, museus tècnics,etc i han de tractar l’ús futur de l’energia (“revolució energètica”). A més, tenen la funció de construir models tècnics que representen la creació, la conversió i l’ús d’energies renovables (maquetes).

The topic of energy revolution meet current developments regarding renewable energies in the EU. The project students (13 to 16 years of age) is going to examine different aspects of renewable energies in Europe: the development of the energy situation (year 1), scientific and technological basics (year 2) as well as ideas for and possibilities of future uses of energy (year 3).

The participating schools are Institut de Navarcles (ES), Gimnazjum No.10 Gliwice which changed their name to Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny nr 12 during the project (PL) and Gymnasium Rheinkamp Europaschule Moers (GER). Unfortunately a third participant, Waterpark College Waterpark (IR) had to withdraw from the project by order of their school board after our first project meeting. This necessitated a restructuring of our original plans regarding the distribution of work and dates for project meetings.

Every school focus on one type of renewable energies which is relevant for their region: water power (PL), wind power (ES) and solar power (GER). It is the students' task to compare these types with each other and with types of fossil energy. They are going to collect data of systems providing energy to cities and schools, and compare the current energy situation, future challenges and solutions for Europe.

The students will visit energy plants, technical museums, etc and they will discuss the future use of energy (“Energy revolution”) with engineers and politicians, created portfolios and presentations. Furthermore, they have to build technical models portraying the creation, conversion and use of renewable energy.
