During these confinement days I try to keep my mind distracted to avoid thinking about not being able to leave home. I try to do as many activities as possible to keep myself occupied.
My routine usually starts around 8.30am, when I wake up. Right after, I eat breakfast and spend the rest of the morning doing homework. Around 1.30pm, I eat lunch. After eating lunch, I like taking a shower and spending some time for myself. Depending on my mood, I read a book, I watch YouTube videos, I do some workouts or I just chill under the sun. Around 8pm, I eat dinner with my family and we watch a movie together. After that, I spend a few hours cheking my social media and talking with friends until I go to sleep. I've noticed that every day it's harder for me to fall asleep, but I still try going to bed before 2am.
For me, I think that the first days were the hardest ones because I couldn't stop thinking about how much I missed my friends. Now, I feel like I've got used to being at home and seeing them through a screen. Even though now I have more time for myself, I still stress out a little and I'm really looking forward to these days to be over. We all know that coronavirus is an experience that we won't forget that easily.

My new daily routine is quite different from the one I used to have. I used to be doing things all day, because I have to do lots of extracurricular activities, apart from studying and doing my homework. I like to be active, so I hate staying at home all day. The first couple of days were quite relaxing for me. I think I needed a break, but now I hate this type of break. At home, I do homework, I cook, I do sport, I play with my sister and I make lots of video calls with my friends and family. I miss them so much!
I’ve been at home since the first day of confinement, I haven’t been out not even to throw the rubbish into the bins! I am very worried about my grandparents because, although they are staying at home, coronavirus is already in Artesa. Both my parents have to work, and I am also quite worried about it. I don’t want to be pessimistic but I feel that this situation is going last a long time and I feel stressed and unhappy. However, I think we have to try to see the positive side of this situation, and, in my opinion, the advantage of these weeks is that we have learnt to appreciate little things in life such as a kiss or a hug. In addition, we have reduced pollution in our cities a lot. Moreover, I have time to do new things and I spend more time with my sister. I hope this nightmare ends very soon.

These days are being quite hard because I’m not used to staying at home for so long. Before this quarantine I used to go out with my friends, do outdoor activities, go to the gym, etc. but now I can’t do any of those activities and I have to stay at home. Even though, I try to follow a schedule and I’ve adapted my daily routines.
Every day I get up at 8:30 am more or less and have breakfast. After that I brush my teeth, comb my hair, get dressed and I do all the things that I used to do before going to school. After that I do some homework and before having lunch I do some sport. During the afternoon I do some more homework and, before having dinner, I have a shower. Sometimes, during the afternoon, I play table games with my family, do some house chores, cook or spend some time on the terrace for getting some fresh air. I try to do the online homework during the morning and the homework that doesn’t need to be done by computer during the afternoon because if I use the computer all day I end up with headache and sore eyes.
This situation is also hard because we don’t know when we’re going to go back to our normal life and I’m worried because my great grandparents are 94 and almost 90 and if they get the coronavirus they’ll probably have lots of problems.
Apart from all that, there are some positive thing. I’ve taught my little cousins and my grandparents how to use FaceTime so we can see each other and my great grandparents have also made a FaceTime with us and it’s quite funny.
I’ve also spent some time watching movies and series with my family and, some of them, alone because I prefer watching them in original version.

These days are being emotionally disturbing and fear is all around. I'm locked at home with my daughter and my husband and I feel quite safe, but my other 4 siblings are all working and I'm really worried about them. My parents, who are over 70, are confined at home and, although we can't visit them, we call them a lot and look after them as much as we can, always from the doorstep, of course.
The news are appalling and it's difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel, however, from the very first day we have set some routine at home that helps us keep up. As we have a 7-year-old daughter, we have designed a timetable to keep active and we do a kind of homeschooling with lessons which range from music, arts and crafts, cooking and P.E to maths, language and philosophy. In fact, my daughter says that she doesn't want to go back to school!
We also watch some films and series and we try to be informed, although I have restricted the time that I spend on social media and I have also limited the news, because with so much information, I started to feel overwhelmed by the situation and I couldn't cope with it.
As you may imagine, I am also working a bit from home, I try to prepare things for you and my other students. I know that you may not feel like working, but I think that having things to do may help you too.
This is more or less my everyday life during the confinement, not big deal, but I do what I must do, staying at home!

I think that my routine has changed a lot since confinement. Before alarm status, my days were always the same. I would wake up at half past six, go by bus to school, and after school I would go to soccer training, when I was done, I was returning home by bus.
Nowadays my routine has changed a lot. I wake up at nine o'clock, I'm going to take a shower, after that I have breakfast and until lunch I do homework. When I have lunch, I watch a series or movies with my parents and my brother or I make a video call with my friends. And then I go to the kitchen to learn how to cook a little with my mother.
After snack, I watch TV with my little brother or I do some homework. At half past nine I have dinner and when I finish I play some games with my brother. And finally I’ll go to sleep.
I miss my other routine, It is true that the other routine was a bit boring because I always did the same but at least I could see my friends, go out, play football with my friends, see my family…
In my opinion, closure is not as boring as people say, you have the time you want and you can use it as you like. Moreover, you can spend much more time with your family, you can play with them, talk to them… And there are many things to do, you just have to imagine.

During these days, our lives have changed a little. The first week it was strange to me not being able to leave the home but nowadays, after a month looks like I’ve already get used to, but this doesn’t take away the desire to return to normal life.
Speaking of the coronavirus, I’m not worried because my relatives are at home except some who must go to work. But I have relatives in Brazil and the coronavirus has also arrived there and being such a big country it is more difficult to paralyze it.
My days start at 9:30 am and then I go to have breakfast and when I finish I go to my room to do homework until my mother calls me for lunch. Depending on the weather I go to the terrace sunbathe or watch series or a movie. I also do some exercise then I take a shower and some days I usually cook a cake, brownie or crepes... to learn with my mother’s help. When I finish I do my homework again until my mother calls me for dinner and watch the news to find out about the new news of the day. To end the day I read, but not because I like it’s because I have to read and I go to sleep.
Well, it is a difficult situation but together we can overcome it and after all this, I think people, including myself will value the small details that make us happier.

I've never thought I'd be saying this, but I actually miss school so much. And that is exactly the first think that comes to my mind when I get up and I have to remember that I ain't going to school and that for our own good, for the good of the ones that we love and also for those that we don't know, we gotta stay at home and keep ourselves save.
The first days of confinement I followed an organized and good schedule routine. I used to get up at 9 am, I did some homework, talk with my fellas and catch up a bit. However, as the time went by, my routine started to get a bit messy. I couldn't sleep at night, because I had insomnia. Therefore, the next morning all my routine was cluttered and it was a lost day.
At the moment, I have more productive days and others, and you know, that's fine. We are living a rough situation where uncertainty is one of the most pronounced words. We really don't know what is going to happen, how life is going to be from now on. But what we do know is that for sure is going to be different and we'll just have to get used to it.
Well, this text is to remember for what we are going through and what are we feeling. So, when someday, in a near or a far future, I read this again I'd like to do it with a smile on my face. For this reason, I want to keep a record in those things, little privileges, that make me happy every day. Suits, the new TV show I've started and has made me consider what I wanna be when I am a grown up, the spinach omelets I eat every day, the long talks with nana and when we roar with laughter.
Finally, and as a member of Gen Z, I'd love to highlight some tweets that have put a big grin on my face and let me assure you that they are everything but priceless.

In the morning, when I get up I have bad mood and it's hard for me to know what day is, we already carry a lot of days in confinement.
After getting up, I have breakfast and I do homework until the lunch time.
In the afternoon, I spend time by myself, watch movies, do exercise, look the social networks and some days I sunbathe, but not always the sun go out.
During these days, I go out to throw the trash into the container and two days I go to buy food, I went equipped at all, with gloves and mask.
After the confinement, I went to train basketball a lot of days in a week, so I need to be active. I do some cardio every day.
These days I discover that I’m good at cooking, I have done some tests and they have gone well. I have made cakes, paella, pizza, tuna tartar, sushi...
On the days when I grow up lively, I try to do my best, because I know that there are days when I get up a little lazy and don’t do a lot.
The best moments of the day are when I’m in contact with my friends, normally at nights we make a video call.
Ares Buñol Perelló
During the confinement, days I have set up a new routine so that I do many activities to in order to keep myself distracted.
My routine starts around 8 o’clock when I wake up. Then, I have breakfast and I do my homework. Around 2pm, I have lunch. After lunch, I like playing board games with my family. Depending on the day, I have online classes in the afternoon, but I try to take some free time for myself. At 9pm, I have dinner with my family and when we finish, I usually go to my bedroom and I do some exercise. After that, I take a shower and I check my mobile until I go to sleep.
I think that we are going to stay at home for a long period of time. That’s why I try to enjoy family moments. On this days, I also like to cook new recipes and do some exercise to keep myself in shape. However, I miss a lot my friends and doing outdoor activities like playing football.

These days are being a bit difficult for everyone because staying all day at home is a bit annoying, and that’s why is very important to keep our mind occupied.
In my case, I’m trying to have a routine in which almost every day I do the same activities. I get up at 9 a.m. and then I have a shower to wake me up completely. When I finish, I have breakfast and I start doing homework. I try to do a little bit of homework every day to keep up to date with all subjects and to avoid staying all day watching movies and series. Some days, we prepare lunch with my sister, and every day we set the table. I would get more bored if she wasn’t at home with me, so we both try to spend time together and we always find something entertaining to do.
In the afternoons, I watch series, play games, do sport, read, draw... Moreover, I have cooking afternoons with my sister and we make cookies, cupcakes, apple pie, pizza, crepes and many more. However, I’m a bit disorganized when I cook, that’s why I’m the kitchen helper of my sister.
So this one is my everyday life, although some days I get bored, I think that I’m dealing with this situation very good. I hope that this conflict has a good ending soon, I miss my friends and my family and I wish we can meet early, face to face, and not behind a screen.
Maria Alsina Villa
These days I’m feeling emotionally unstable because we don’t know when is going to end this problem. It’s been almost a month since we’ve confined at home. These first three weeks I have lived with my mother and now I’m living with my father and my grandfather.
In the news are saying that we should keep our normal routine to take better these days. I’m trying to do it, but I can’t get up before eleven o’clock. When I wake up I stay in bed with the mobile and then I have breakfast, after that I check my mail and I do some homework. After lunch, I stay on the sofa watching series until five, then I do homework until eight. Next, I do some exercise with some YouTube tutorials. Afterward, I have a shower and I have dinner. I try to keep this routine from Monday to Friday and in the weekend I wake up later, I watch the series and I read.
The hardest part of being locked at home is not being able to see my friends, and the people I love. Therefore, almost every night, after dinner, I make a video call with my friends and we stay talking and laughing until late.
Some days I get bored or stressed, but we have to stay at home to stop this pandemic.
Jana Galceran
Confinement has completely changed my live and my routine. Just for the simple fact of not being able to leave the house. Before the confinement, I used to go to high school, hang out with friends, play football, go to concerts... But now I can't do any of that.
Currently, my routine is more different than before. I get up at 9 o’clock in the morning, I have shower, then breakfast and start doing homework until lunch time. After lunch, I sit on the sofa for a while and I watch a movie, until 6 am. Then I go down to the garage and I do some exercise and I play football. At 8 I finish quite tired. At 9 o'clock I have dinner and after that, I go with my parents and my sister to watch a movie or make a video call with friends and finally I go to bed.
I miss going out and seeing my friends, playing football... But at first I thought that being home a lot was boring but I was wrong, there are many things that I can do in order to spend a good time.

Currently, my routine is very different for the conditions that we are living for the Covid-19. This pandemic has changed our life, as I stay at home to save the world. The first days were quite difficult and strange for me, I was very sad and the situation made my angry. Right now I am quite accustomed to the situation and I take it so much better than at first.
First, I try to wake me up at 9:30h to take advantage of the day. I do a good and elaborate breakfast, since I’m no hurry to go to school now. Then, I take the morning to do sport and relax me listening to music for an hour and a half, and when I end I go to the shower. To end the morning, I will help my parents to make lunch. Then, I will do the school job that teachers command us on the internet from time to time and when I finish my homework I proposed to do, I go to snack. During the snack, I look at some series on the Netflix until I go to dinner.
Finally, after dinner, I do video conferences with my friends and my boyfriend until the time to go to sleep. I do this routine almost every day, because someday I make an exception.
I always try to be active and entertaining for this experience to be easier for me because I hate staying at home all day, but the positive thing is that I can spend more time with my family.
Maria Gilabert
We’ve been closed for 36 days at home, and I still don’t believe everything that is happening. This days are being very strange, since I don’t do the routine I would normally do. Before, I often met with my friends, go to walking, go to school… And now I can’t do nothing of this.
My routine now is based on doing homework, spend more time with my family, especially with my cousin Mel, we also cook different recipes, we cook cookies, pancakes, different cakes, easter cake… I also spend a lot of time watching Netflix and doing virtual sport.
The only good thing that I draw from this experience is that now I value much more the little things I had before like kisses or hugs from loved ones. I hope it all ends soon and we can return to normality.
ADA VEGA
During this period of time the most important thing is to be able to follow a timetable. I want to tell you how I make it to do my day shorter. I strongly believe that we will be back to normality soon.
My routine always starts at 9 o’clock when I wake up but the truth is that I still have my eyes half open. Afterwards, I go to the kitchen to eat my breakfast, meanwhile I call my grandparents by video and watch the news in the TV. Before I carry out the class tasks that I should do during our confinement. By noon eventually I have lunch around 2.15pm and after that I hang out and relax in the sofa with my family. Then I spend the time to have fun for example, watching some videos in YouTube, playing video games that I used to play with in my childhood, helping my mum to decorate home, being active in social media.
At last I show videos with exercises every day and I send a video to my fitness coach, to vary I like to come up with the challenges everyone’s doing at home. Finally I take a shower and eat dinner. As soon as possible I go to sleep in order to be restful the next day.
To sum up, it is a situation that never occurred but now in this situation you realize the values that are really important. I think and I hope that people will change their minds and spend more time at home and pollute less.
ALBERT RIERA CONDAL
These days were very boring for me, this virus changed my whole routine and I can't do most of things that I did before the lockdown.
My routine starts by waking up very late, like 12 o'clock or something like this, im very irregular my sleep schedule, first i go to the bath and then i make some breakfast to get some energy. After that I start looking for some homework till I go to eat because it's the dinner time, yeah i eat a lot.
Later I go to my garage and play football a bit or ride my skate for an hour or two. Then I like to do some workout and go to the shower. After all this I just relax till I go to sleep.
This all is so boring because I hate being in the house locked like a bird in a jail, miss being in the streets and I hope we can go out soon, stay in home !
