Biography

Youngbum Hur is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Inha University. He got his Ph.D. degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from University of Texas at Austin in 2017, under the supervision of Jonathan F. Bard.  He worked at Sabre in 2017-2019 and Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2019-2021. Dr. Hur's early work are mostly on operations research. After he graduated, he started to work on machine learning and deep learning.
