Show Length
Show must be 45-60 minutes
If your show is more than 5 minutes under time, guests will have $3 per ticket refunded to them at the artists' expense.
The first time your show runs over 60 minutes you will receive a visual warning from your tech at 65 minutes, and stage lights will be shut off and work lights will come on at 67 minutes
The second time your show runs over 60 minutes you will receive an immediate warning from your technician and the lights will be turned on at their discretion.
Your show may not have an intermission.
Tech time!
Each show will receive a 2-hour technical rehearsal in your venue with a IndyFringe technician.
If you have stage manager, they are not allowed to operate the light board in your venue, but can run sound cues and call light cues.
Bring a printed copy of your script with all your cues written in to leave with the IndyFringe technician. (this will be returned to you after the run)
Load-in/Strike
Each production will have 10 minutes for load-in, and 10 minutes for strike.
If your load-in takes longer than 10 minutes, audience members may be seated while you complete your set-up
If your strike takes longer than 10 minutes, the next artist may be permitted to begin loading in as you finish your strike.
Your technician will not assist you with load-in or strike.
IF Theatre volunteers or staff are not assist you with load-in or strike.
Storage
Every show will be able to store set, props, and costumes at venue. It must fit in a 3 X 3 square. Do not bring items like a couch unless you plan on loading it out after every show.

The Basile Theatre is IF Theatre's mainstage. What was once a Baptist church in the early 20th century is now a beautiful stage with hardwood flooring and classic black walls.
Seating Capacity: 100
Stage Dimensions: 20' deep x 30' wide
Projector: Screen hangs Upstage Center, directly in front of masking.
Crossover: Crossover possible via pipe-and-drape or by crossing underneath the building's office.
Dressing Room: Accommodates 8-12 and is located underneath the stage
Accessibility: Theatre accessible via lift from main lobby. Green room area only accessible via stairs.
Storage: Artists will receive a 3' x 3' square to store items at the theatre. Anything that does not fit inside of that square must be removed at the end of each performance.
719 E. St. Clair Street
IF Theatre's blackbox is an intimate but highly-regarded stage in our local community. This ground-floor addition to the IF Theatre building is fully accessible.
Seating Capacity: 62
Stage Dimensions: 15' deep x 30' wide
Projector: Screen hangs Upstage Center, directly in front of masking
Crossover: Crossover possible via pipe-and-drape
Dressing Room: Accommodates 3-5 and is located backstage right
Accessibility: This theatre is fully accessible.

627 Massachusetts Avenue
This intimate stage at the front of The District Theatre is a local mainstay for magic, comedy, and musical storytelling.
Seating Capacity: 60
Stage Dimensions: 12' deep x 25' wide
Projector: N/A
Crossover: Crossover possible behind upstage curtain.
Dressing Room: Shared dressing space with District Mainstage, located below the theatre.
Accessibility: This stage is fully accessible, though the dressing area is not. A volunteer may have to put a ramp down to get a wheelchair over the single step into the theatre.
Storage: Artists will receive approximately 3'X3' of storage space at the venue. Any items that do not fit inside of that square must be removed from the building at the end of each performance.
627 Massachusetts Avenue
The District Theatre's Mainstage is one of the most celebrated stages in Downtown Indy. Formerly known as the Theatre on the Square, this theatre has a long history of supporting LGBTQ+ voices and hosting performances of all kinds!
Seating Capacity: 120
Stage Dimensions: 18' deep x 40' wide
Projector: Projector is center - projects onto a white cyc, rather than a traditional screen.
Crossover: Crossover possible by closing the legs
Dressing Room: Shared dressing space with District Cabaret, located below the theatre.
Accessibility: This stage is fully accessible, though the dressing area is not. A volunteer may have to put a ramp down to get a wheelchair over the single step into the theatre.
Storage: Artists will receive approximately 3'X3 of storage space at the venue. Any items that do not fit inside of that square must be removed from the building at the end of each performance.
401 E. Michigan Street
The Athenaeum Theatre is one of the city's most historic performance spaces. This large auditorium was once home to Indiana's first LORT theatre company.
Seating Capacity: 250
Stage Dimensions: 30' deep x 40' wide
Projector: Projection is possible but not included in this space. If you would like to use projection capabilities for your show, Callie can help you negotiate the price of that service with The Athenaeum.
Crossover: Crossover possible behind upstage curtain. Expansive wing space.
Dressing Room: Two dressing rooms plus a separate green room space, below the theatre.
Accessibility: This auditorium is fully accessible for guests via an elevator. However, there is no handiaccessible access to the stage in this venue.
Storage: Artists will receive approximately 3'X3 of storage space at the venue. Any items that do not fit inside of that square must be removed from the building at the end of each performance.
235 North Delaware St.
Our newest venue to the IndyFringe Festival family, VisionLoft Mass Ave is a chic meeting and events space for makers of all kinds! A fully equipped stage, sound, and lighting rig will be constructed between the dual screen projectors.

Projector: Two projectors available on either upstage corner of the performance space.
Crossover: Back wall will be exposed so there will not be backstage cross over, but there will be expansive wing space.
Dressing Room: A lounge will be curtained off from the rest of the space to provide a private dressing/greenroom space for participating artists.
Accessibility: This venue is fully accessible for guests and artists.
Storage: Artists will receive approximately 3'X3 of storage space at the venue. Any items that do not fit inside of that square must be removed from the building at the end of each performance.
