The IndyFringe Festival first took over the Mass Ave Arts District in 2005 and has returned over $2.5M to particpating artists since.

Our festival seeks to be a fun, vibrant celebration of bold arts from across the globe and as one of our artists, you will be a huge part of creating a joyful, warm culture in the heart of The Circle City!

Using Your Artist Pass

Your artist pass is valid for admission to any performance at the IndyFringe Festival based on the following conditions:

There are unsold seats available at 5 minutes to curtain time
You check-in with the venue's theatre captain in the separate artist/volunteer line prior to entering the venue
You are the artist using your pass. Your artist pass will have your name on it and it is non-transferrable. A theatre captain or volunteer may ask to see another form of identification when using your artist pass

Ticketing Information

Artist Take: 70%

IF Theatre Take: 30%

Option 1

$20 adult ticket
$14 Student, Senior, Veteran

(A $2/ticket fee is added at checkout. This fee is deducted before the ticket split)

Option 2

Pay What You Can (PWYC) - $10 minimum

(A $2/ticket fee is added at checkout. This fee is deducted before the ticket split. Ticket display will default to $20, but ticket-buyers members will be instructed to write in their preferred price when they land on your ticket page)

Discounts:

Flex Pass tickets - IF Theatre offers a 6-ticket pass for $99. This means that the value of each ticket is $16.50. (This model applies for both Standard and PWYC tickets).
Rush Tickets - IF Theatre offers same-day rush tickets for select performances. A limited number of these tickets are offered at $12
Friends and Family Codes - Each participant will receive a discount code for $5 off that they may distribute however they wish. IF Theatre will never share this code.
Comp Tickets - Each participant will be able to comp 10 tickets during their run. IF Theatre may also offer comps to volunteers, media, and select community partners. Artists will also receive a pass for free admission pending availability at curtain.

Additional Discounts:

IF Theatre will offer other discounts as needed in the interests of creating a full house. These discounts are designed to fill seats not just in the moment, but to build momentum for you to get tickets at full price sold in later performances.

What Does My Artist Fee Get Me?

Venue rental for all performances
Venue rental for your technical rehearsal
A lighting/sound technician for all performances & your technical rehearsal
An artist pass for free admission to any performance (pending availability)
A 1/4 pg show listing in the IndyFringe Festival program and official IndyFringe Festival schedule
Inclusion on our online ticket sales platform
Invitation to our Festival Preview Night and Festival Wrap-Up parties
Additional marketing resources and production support including office hours, access to select Fringe Festival press, document templates, and more!

IndyFringe Goes Green

IF Theatre is thrilled to be working with the City of Indianapolis to reduce our ecological impact. New this year, you'll notice:

Water coolers to fill re-usable water bottles free of charge
Recycling bins
Costuming/Properties loaning and re-sale
Opportunities to upcycle lumber or other set pieces
