Recreational Activities:
Goal: For individuals with disabilities to become more integrated into the community, and for the individual to become an essential part of their community through pre-planned community outings in a small group.
Services Include:
Families and their child with a disability choose from a pre-planned menu of community activities.
Chaperoning community outings by skilled staff and volunteers.
Assistance with practicing life skills and social skills in the moment.
Fostering of relationships among clients during outings.
Cost: Varies based on community activity.
Rhythmic Connections:
Goal: For individuals with disabilities to experience music in a unique way in order to promote wellness, manage stress, express feelings, improve communication, and gain self-confidence.
Services Include:
Small group music therapy facilitated by a board certified music therapist.
Chaperoning and assistance provided by skilled staff and volunteers.
Assistance with practicing life skills and social skills in the moment.
Fostering of relationships among clients during outings.
Cost: $35/session
