Tuesday, October 6

5:15 AM Students report to IMS - 2 buses provided by Zona Bus Lines

5:45 AM Depart IMS for  DC - stop at Oakmont rest area 

12:45 PM Arrive in DC. for lunch at Mount Vernon Food Court and tour of Mount Vernon

3:30 PM Depart for DC to tour American History Museum or Archives

4:00 PM Arrive for tour of one of the above museums. 

5:30 PM Depart Museum of picture stop of the White House

5:45 PM Picture Stop of  White House 

6:00 PM Depart for Dinner at Pentagon City Food Court. 

6:30 PM Arrive for  dinner at  Pentagon City Food Court & Souvenir Shopping

7:30 PM Depart for tour of Washington Monument, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Lincoln, & Pentagon Memorials 

10:30 PM Check-in at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport for two night stay at:

Wednesday, October 7

6:15 AM Group wake up call

6:45 AM Full breakfast at hotel

7:15 AM Depart hotel for Arlington

8:15 AM Arrive at Arlington for tour of Kennedy Gravesites, Tomb of the Unknowns, 

Changing of the Guard, Women’s Memorial, and Arlington House & Iwo Jima

10:30 AM Depart Arlington for US Capitol Group Photo 

11:00 AM  Arrive at Grant Park for US Capitol Group Photo

11:30  AM Depart for lunch at Reagan Food Court 

12:30 PM Tours of National Archives, American History, Holocaust Museum, Fords 

Theater, Air & Space, African American.  (Students will see 2 of the above museums and have a choice for their 2nd one.  All will see either Archives/American History)

4:00 PM Depart museums for of Jefferson Memorial, FDR, & MLK Memorials. 

5:30 PM Depart MLK for Dave & Busters Fairfax, VA, for dinner

6:30 PM Arrive at Dave & Busters for dinner

9:00 PM Depart Dave & Busters for hotel 

9:30 PM Return to hotel ♦ Security provided through Nowak Tours.  ♦

Thursday, October 8

6:45 AM Group wake up call

7:15 AM Full breakfast at hotel

7:45 AM Depart hotel for Gettysburg Battlefield Tour

9:30 AM Arrive at Gettysburg for Tour of Battlefield & Lunch

12:45 PM  Lunch at The FarmHouse (Barn)

2:00 PM Depart The FarmHouse for home

5:00 PM Prepackaged Snack break at New Stanton, PA rest stop 

*Stop at Portage Service Plaza, OH rest area (if needed)

7:30 PM Arrive back at Independence Middle School
