Meet Miss Caylor

Miss Caylor's Portfolio

I grew up in a small town in southeast Iowa called, Centerville. My mom and brother are also teachers and my dad was a farmer. I was always involved in both school and outside school activities. Name an activity, you can bet my name was somewhere on the list. Elementary school was by far my favorite as I have the fondest memories. Actually, third grade was one of my favorites thanks to my teacher Mrs. Sulser.

I graduated high school in 2016 and attended Indian Hills Community College for one year where I received my Associates of Arts Degree. In the fall of 2017 I transferred to the University of Northern Iowa. For the next three years you could see me being loud and crazy in the stands at almost any UNI sporting event repping the Purple and Gold in my purple and yellow overalls. I graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, with minors in Literacy and Social Studies, and an endorsement in Reading. I completed my student teaching experiences last fall in 3rd and 4th grade. This past spring I long term subbed in a 3rd grade classroom for the last seven weeks of school. My favorite subjects in school are Social Studies and Reading. This will be the start of my third year already?! Wow! Time sure does fly when you're having fun! ☺️
