About the Seminary
San Oscar Romero Theological Seminary is a juridic institution of the Independent Catholic Ordinariate decreed with the primary role of preparing ministers (clergy and laity) through formal theological study, pastoral praxis and spiritual formation to serve communities of the Ordinariate.
As the Seminary of the Ordinariate, men and women are formed in pastoral ministry and theologically preparing for the permanent diaconate, ministerial priesthood or authorized lay ecclesial ministry since September of 2020 based in the State of Texas offering a complete online and distance education format of undergraduate and graduate-level theological studies.
